facilitator Experience

Since 1991, I have facilitated workshops on a variety of subjects. All presentations were developed to meet the needs of the organization making the request. Some of the subjects included, but are not limited to:

  • Anxiety
  • Building resiliency: mitigating the effects of trauma on mental health
  • Communication skills
  • Crisis intervention
  • Difficult conversations
  • Emotion management
  • Grief
  • Harassment
  • Illnesses – acute and chronic
  • Letting Go
  • Mental Health Management
  • Neurodivergence (ADD, ADHD, Autism, FASD…)
  • Parenting
  • Productivity
  • Relationships
  • Resiliency
  • Restorative justice
  • Sexuality
  • Stress management
  • Suicide intervention and prevention
  • Trauma intervention
  • Well-Being

I have enjoyed facilitating groups for a few different reasons.

  • As I research how I will present the subject, it allows me to deepen my knowledge and understanding.
  • When I facilitate a group, the questions and sharing of the participants is always rich and allow for the integration of new points of view.
  • I love sharing tools with others so they are more comfortable with a specific subject and can apply them in their lives, personal or professional.
